In the autumn of 2004, Sea Tech,
commissioned by New Shipyard, began developing the ST14B
motor yacht project, codenamed Boomer.
The creative team achieved a significant
milestone: for the first time, the entire development cycle —
including design, detailed engineering, and construction support
— was carried out entirely by the company's specialists. The
lead vessel was built at the Nizhny Novgorod Teplokhod shipyard
and launched in the autumn of 2005.
The Boomer yacht is designed for
inland waterway travel with the capability for coastal sea
cruising. It can also serve as a professional utility or
commuter boat.
An elegant and modern motor yacht, the
Boomer creates the impression of a large ship rather than a
small boat from a distance. Its original appearance leaves no
one indifferent, sparking various associations — one romantic
observer even noted that the yacht resembles a seagull resting
on the water.
The vessel serves as a versatile platform for creating a family
of utility, commuter, and specialized boats. Its straightforward
design makes the assembly process accessible to any boatyard or
workshop. The project is a popular choice for DIY construction.
We offer design packages and CNC
cutting files (kits) for the DIY construction of the BOOMER
yacht.
